Finally, Your 'Hell Yes' or 'Hell No' System!
Create an Internal Compass to Make Confident Choices Without Guilt Automatically!
Most of your energy every day is spent making decisions. And that is exhausting. Every morning greets you with another stack of choices. Should you take that opportunity? Should you say yes again? What if this is the one that changes everything?
Maybe you are stuck because you cannot decide what type of business to pursue. Or you are already successful, but each day feels like you are trading pieces of yourself to do work that slowly grinds the joy out of you. If that sounds familiar, keep reading.

If you whistle your way to fulfilling work, wake up thrilled to serve your clients, spend long, unrushed evenings with the people you love, and enjoy a healthy relationship with your body as balanced as your checking account, then you can move along. This page is not for you.
-
But if you are like ninety-five percent of the world, dragging yourself to work just to stay ahead of the bills, this might be exactly what you need.

If you are watching the pounds creep up while your energy drains by mid-afternoon, and the only physical effort you can muster is working the remote, then this is definitely for you.

If you are watching the pounds creep up while your energy drains by mid-afternoon, and the only physical effort you can muster is working the remote, then this is definitely for you.

And if you feel alone with a private struggle and no one to turn to, it is not too late. You have options. You simply need a clear process to make better decisions at exactly the right moments.
I Was One of Those That Needed a Lot of Help!
For nearly twenty years, I worked as an independent business strategy consultant for a major telecom company. In the beginning, it was exciting. I felt valued and important. As my clients rose to the C-suite, they trusted me to bring my perspective to their stressful roles and help them craft a path that kept them on the right track while their companies stayed on the straight and narrow.
It was great for my reputation. And my ego loved it. Perhaps too much, as corporate life soon took its toll. Long hours and constant availability. Cross-country flights with frequent stops in airport travel lounges to check on work progress. Daily battles with ego-driven rivals trying to claw their way to the next level.
Every day, even as my pay increased and the accolades rolled in, the pit in my stomach grew deeper and darker.
Eight months before my 50th birthday, I made myself a promise: “Fifty and OUT.” I didn’t know what I would do next. I just knew I couldn’t keep going like this.
That decision led me to start NAMS (the Novice to Advanced Marketing System), where I helped thousands of people create online businesses. It wasn’t easy, but it was the right move. Later, when I again needed to reevaluate what was important to me and my wife, I sold that company to the chief operating officer I’d been grooming for years to continue the work. That was my daughter.
The lesson was simple. Pay attention to the signs. And remember, more money is not the answer.
Without fulfillment and balance, nothing will feel right.
Beware the Money Trap!
Don’t get me wrong. Money, and lots of it, is very nice, but it can be a trap too.
Before starting my consulting business, I worked as a journalist, holding roles that included photographer, reporter, editor, and publisher at five different newspapers, ranging from a small weekly to a major flagship newspaper in a large chain.
After 20 years in a changing newsroom in an evolving business, I was restless again. That led me to my first real company, a stock photography agency. Initially, it was both exciting and challenging. But there’s a dark side to business that comes from focusing too much on the bottom line.
For me, that was an opportunity that made me cringe. Someone walked in the door with lingerie photos of a young woman having an affair with a married New York real estate mogul. She was in hiding because of the scandal. We had the only pictures of her, and they were studio quality. It was fast money. And I felt dirty. This was not the kind of journalism I wanted to be a part of. It violated my personal values.
But we sold them. Again and again. All over the world. And in two weeks, we made $140,000. That was a substantial amount of money in the early 1990s.
Tabloids from Spain, South Africa, Japan, and Australia, as well as every rag in the U.S., called to see if we had anything else to report. Because word had gotten out that we were the source of these, people willing to sell out their high school friends who had since become celebrities began showing up at our office with more pictures from friendly sleepovers or teenage parties.
Money kept pouring in. How could I give that up?
It didn’t take long before we had the wrong reputation. The motto for our little agency had become “Where the girls were easy.”
And the photographers who brought the images in didn’t care. They liked the cash.
But I cared. I was sick to my stomach. So, we stopped. We focused on more legitimate image sales. Over the next couple of years, we generated almost $1.5 million in sales, focusing on textbooks, corporate, and advertising images. We could have made more with tabloids. But I couldn’t live with myself.
In the corporate world, there’s a trap that’s set to make sure an employee can’t afford to leave. It’s called golden handcuffs.
Make someone a vice-president with a substantial paycheck and maybe a few stock options, and there’s no way he can jump ship. It costs too much.
So you stay. On paper, not changing “makes sense.” Inside, the price is too extreme.
The same principle applies in the business world. Making a lot of money can be tough to change directions.
The only way out is to conduct a thorough inventory of your values, have a clear vision of where you’re going, and commit to using those as a filter, so only what truly fits gets in. Everything else gets dumped.
And it only works if it guides your entire life: health, relationships, business, finances, and overall well-being.
The Battle for Your Survival Is Internal
You see, fixing one area of your life by adhering to your values while ignoring the others only creates a small war inside your body and mind.
That’s why a person who works 14 hours a day chasing the next buck can’t possibly have healthy relationships or get enough exercise. You’re literally cutting your life short.
You may think padding your bank account is the most important thing, but ask any widow or widower, and chances are they would give anything to have their loved one back.
Listen, you’re successful. At least to the outside world. You’ve built something that “works.” But every day feels heavier because it no longer feels true. The focus on making more money can trap you, making you afraid to leave, but it can also make you even more miserable if you stay.
And the real danger isn’t the work itself. It’s the denial.
Plugging away every day, pushing the same levers, and getting the same results is like working on an assembly line—day after day after day. If you stop for just a minute and evaluate your current situation, you'll go nuts.
But the alternative is more of the same.
You need clarity. Focus. A clear path to achieve your goals for your ENTIRE life, not just your work life. You need to be able to make decisions easily and rest assured that those choices will take you in the direction that serves you, your family, and your sanity.
If you're feeling stuck today, that’s why. If you keep telling yourself, “I should just work harder,” you need to step back and figure out why.
But you already know the truth: working harder on the wrong path doesn’t fix it. It just digs the hole deeper.
When I was working in the newspaper business, I read a quote in a book that became seared into my brain:
"People may spend their whole lives climbing the ladder of success, only to find, once they reach the top, that the ladder is leaning against the wrong wall."
Stephen Covey was a smart guy. And the book was "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People."
It stuck because I knew I needed help, but I wasn’t sure why or how.
That's when I got my first coach, a retired entrepreneur turned blackberry farmer who taught me the secret question, "And then what?"
Why the Common Fixes Don’t Work
When you’re stuck in this place, you start grasping for solutions like a drowning man who grabs for anything that floats. If you're thinking about giving up, there's a good reason for that. I've been there. I tried all the easy fixes that others suggested.
Push harder.
Tell yourself it’s a season. Grind. Prove you can outwork the emptiness. But the spark never returns—you just dig deeper into exhaustion.
I even went to my accountant—a trusted friend of 25+ years—and told him how empty I felt. His advice? “Now is the time to dig in. Hustle more. Work harder while you’re young enough.”
That was terrible advice. Hustle was the very thing draining me in the first place.
Chase a shiny new idea.
This is the choice most people make. Start a new project, switch niches, buy another course. For a while, it feels good—newness brings a little high. But the real issue doesn’t go away, and the same emptiness returns. Now you’ve just given yourself more to do. The short-term fix becomes another layer of work.
Walk away completely.
Burn it down, start fresh. But you’ve built something. You have responsibilities. You can’t just abandon it all and hope things magically get better.
Don’t worry. Your solution may be one or all of these. And yes, I know. That sounds even more complicated. However, there’s a way to ensure that none of them work for you either. Alone, they all skip the real issue: you don’t have clarity on what truly matters to you.
Sometimes the first step is simply space.
My daughter is a brilliant entrepreneur. She was thoroughly trained in my business for years before taking it on. But one day recently, she called, worn down and exhausted.
After listening, I asked her, “Are you asking my advice?” She replied yes. I suggested, “Take a vacation, or even a staycation if necessary. You don’t need to work harder; you need time to yourself. When you step away long enough to reflect, you always return with greater clarity, strength, and even more resources at your disposal.”
She trusted me, took the time to create a little space, and returned renewed with clarity.
That’s what Clear Path Mastery gives you: the structured space and process to evaluate options and make the decisions that actually move you forward…with guidance.
Unfortunately, we can’t always see what’s in front of us. It takes an outside perspective.
Clear Path Mastery Gives You Clarity That Lasts
This isn’t about doing more. It’s about uncovering your true values, building a vision that excites you, and creating a simple decision matrix that acts like a personal gatekeeper.
Every choice in your life, whether it’s business, health, relationships, money, or well-being, gets filtered through this matrix. If it doesn’t fit your values and vision, it doesn’t get in. Period.
The result? No more overthinking. No more wasted energy. Just clarity.
The Five Areas of Life You Must Align to Create a Clear Path
Business and Career:
Building Work That Honors You
Let’s face it, you probably spend most of your waking hours working. Whether you’re in business for yourself or you spend forty hours a week in a cubicle working for the man, it may not reflect your values. If it doesn’t, it will likely drain your energy. Not sure? How do you feel about going to work on Sunday night? True fulfillment begins when what you do every day matches what matters most. Clear Path Mastery helps you realign your business decisions with your core values so success feels satisfying—not hollow.
How Clear Path Mastery Helps
- Identifies your purpose, making your work feel truly meaningful.
- Clarifies which opportunities align with your long-term vision.
- Reveals the internal conflicts causing burnout.
- Builds a business or career that supports your ideal life.
- Creates a daily structure that fuels momentum instead of fatigue.
HEALTH:
Creating Energy That Matches Your Ambition
It’s a cliche: Without health, nothing else matters. When your energy wanes or your body resists your goals, progress can feel impossible. Health isn’t about having the perfect body, but being your best self with vitality, consistency, and alignment between your habits and your priorities. Everyone has different health goals. You may be focused on your family's genetics. Or maybe, like me, you’re diagnosed with a debilitating disease (diabetes) in later life. And now, all of a sudden, your lifestyle has to change. The truth is that we don't need a diagnosis to start a better lifestyle. Your lifestyle will empower your happiness.
How Clear Path Mastery Helps
- Establishes health routines anchored in your values.
- Connects physical vitality with mental clarity and performance.
- Uncovers the “why” behind self-sabotaging habits.
- Builds realistic accountability systems.
- Restores energy so you can have a bigger vision with confidence.
Money:
Redefining Wealth on Your Terms
Money is a powerful tool, but without a healthy relationship with it, it can become a constant source of stress. When your financial goals aren’t rooted in what truly matters, you end up chasing numbers instead of freedom. The American dream now seems to include building generational wealth. That’s a trap that sets you up for failure. You feel trapped by debt, anxious about spending, or never satisfied, no matter how much you earn.
How Clear Path Mastery Helps
- Clarifies your money story and how it shapes your choices.
- Aligns financial decisions with your deepest priorities.
- Turns “survival budgeting” into purposeful resource management.
- Identifies beliefs that quietly limit your earning potential.
- Builds a clear financial vision that supports your freedom.
Relationships:
Building Connections That Feed Your Soul
Whether at home or work, relationships define the quality of your life. When you’re out of sync with the people closest to you, stress multiplies. You feel unheard, undervalued, or isolated, even around people you care about. Conversations turn into conflicts, and trust feels fragile. All of a sudden, you find yourself avoiding the other person, which becomes really uncomfortable. That builds even more resentment.
How Clear Path Mastery Helps
- Teaches values-based communication that builds understanding.
- Helps you identify and repair emotional disconnections.
- Establishes boundaries that increase mutual respect.
- Clarifies which relationships nurture growth or drain it.
- Builds confidence in expressing yourself without fear.
Well-Being:
Integrating Balance, Peace, and Purpose
Well-being is where everything comes together—the harmony between body, mind, and spirit. It’s not about avoiding challenges but about staying grounded through them. You’re always “on,” rarely present, or chasing peace you can’t seem to hold onto. Success often brings stress rather than satisfaction. You long for a life that feels calm, confident, and fully alive.
How Clear Path Mastery Helps
- Reconnects you to purpose beyond productivity.
- Introduces simple practices for mindfulness and renewal.
- Builds resilience through aligned daily rituals.
- Helps you recognize and release chronic stress triggers.
- Creates internal harmony, enabling you to thrive across every domain of life.
Hell Yes! Or Hell No! Your Secret Weapon for Stress-Free Living
Most of the stress we experience doesn’t come from big, life-changing choices, but from the hundreds of small, daily decisions we make without a clear framework. The Clear Path Mastery Decision Matrix eliminates that noise. When you connect your values and vision across the five key areas of life (Business, Health, Money, Relationships, and Well-Being), you create an internal compass that makes choices simple and automatic.
If a decision violates your values, vision, guiding principles, or desired future state, it’s a hell no. If it supports and strengthens those, it’s a hell yes.
There’s no gray area, no overthinking, no guilt. You’re no longer wrestling with what feels right. You know it instantly because it either fits your matrix or it doesn’t.
Think about how often we say yes out of obligation. Maybe you agree to another family event even though you know you’ll be exhausted and resentful afterward. That’s a clear sign your decision matrix isn’t in place. With the matrix, the choice becomes easy: it doesn’t fit, so you say no. The matrix gives you permission to protect your energy, your peace, and your priorities. It’s clarity turned into action, or a system for living your values instead of compromising them.
What Life Feels When You've Created a Decision Matrix
Imagine a Gatekeeper Protecting You from All of Life's Distractions and Keeping You Focused on What's Most Important!
Standing at the door, the gatekeeper shields you from scams, distractions, and energy vampires. They only open the gate for what fits your deepest values and moves you toward the life you want. Your decision matrix is your gatekeeper. And your protector. And your biggest advocate.
Every day, you're attacked from all sides. Everyone wants to manage your schedule to fit their agenda. Everyone wants you to do their bidding.
Energy vampires and open energy loops eat at your time and priorities.
Right now, every new opportunity feels heavy. Every decision feels like a gamble. You go back and forth, second-guessing yourself until you’re exhausted.
That’s because you don’t yet have a clear path to decisions.
Your Gatekeeper Comes to the Rescue!
The biggest benefit of Clear Path Mastery is this: by the end of the program, you will have built your own personalized decision matrix. It’s a simple system that protects your values and vision across five key areas of your life: health, relationships, business, money, and overall well-being.
All of your values —the things most important to you —are in a box that only you can open. Any outside influence can't get in unless it passes your clear path test.
What that means for you:
-
Instantly know whether to say hell yes or hell no.
-
Make every decision automatically.
-
Stop second-guessing yourself.
-
Invite advisors who promise to use YOUR decision matrix.
-
Close energy loops that interfere with your thoughts.
-
Feel better and live longer.
-
Watch the money flow in seamlessly,
-
Feel sure you're in the right business.
-
Identify energy vampires quickly.
-
Stop wasting energy on distractions.
-
Make confident choices without guilt or FOMO.
-
Reclaim your mental energy and peace of mind.
-
Enjoy peace of mind all the time.
-
Cherish your most special relationships.
-
Prioritize happiness.
-
Be more creative.
Why This Is Different
There are boatloads of tools, courses, tactics, and psychological training programs from which to choose when you have a specific problem to solve. Some of them are great. But frankly, most of what’s out there doesn’t work. All those tools and even coaches give you more information, not transformation. They pile on things to do, but never help you understand why.
What Is Clear Path Mastery and How Do You Know If It's Right for You?
Clear Path Mastery is a coaching/mentoring program I developed based on my experience, which helped me forge a life without regret, one that is deeply fulfilling, with beautiful relationships, excellent physical and mental capabilities, and the freedom to do what I want, when I want.
And it's not just about money. Company revenue was outstanding, but I never created generational wealth. As your coach, I’ll help you prioritize your personal vision, allowing you to wake up every day excited about the possibilities.
What Clear Path Mastery Is Not?
-
I won’t tell you to hustle harder.
Hustle burned you out in the first place. You'll never hear me say that you need to work harder. And if I ever use the phrase "grind," please smack me about the ears.
-
I won’t drown you in theory.
You’ll build a living tool you’ll use every day. Not long after starting this coaching program, you'll have a personalized Decision Matrix. It's the culmination of all the work. Implementing it requires persistence and faith. We'll do that together.
-
I won’t abandon you.
I’ll be there to make sure you don’t stall. You'll have homework that drives you to the next phase of the project. Some of the homework involves a bit of self-reflection, which can be challenging. I've done the work, continue to do the work, and can guide you through it. You won't be alone.
-
I won’t tell you to burn everything down and start over.
You’ll reshape your business, career, and life to fit who you are now. I'll never tell you to give up on your current company or job. I won't ask you to get divorced. I won't tell you to stop eating donuts. However, you will evaluate relationships, business, health, finances, and overall well-being to make informed choices based on what you discover.
Don’t Just Take My Word for It
One of the benefits of living a long time is that I have a world of experience in multiple areas and hundreds of clients in both the entrepreneurial and corporate worlds. Here’s what a few of the people who have worked with me have to say about the experience.
The first group of comments come from business owners I’ve mentored.
“David is a great coach, and the work we did together provided me with the focus and, yes, clarity I needed for my business. Instead of pursuing every opportunity that popped up and wasting my time and resources on unproductive ventures, I focused on those that fit my core values... By achieving that clarity, I landed our biggest client to date within a month. I highly recommend not only his courses, but also his continuing coaching and mentorship for anyone who wants to truly understand how to get focused on their business and their life.”
Dennis Lashua
“Thank you, David. You took me out of my fuzzy thinking, outlined the big picture, and set me on a path of next steps with assignments! I am so grateful for the clarity and focus you helped me find! I’ve never been clear on goals for numbers, so I was limiting the growth potential and possibilities that are there. With your expertise and direction, I feel like I accomplished so much in that short hour and am on a clear path forward - one step at a time! Breaking free of the things I was doing that were holding me back!”
Terry Loving
“Each time I go through this program I discover something new or get a different set of ah-ha’s from it. Most recently, refining my ‘only statement’ has brought tremendous clarity to my business and my life. It’s taken some time to get here, but the focus and energy from having this statement nailed down is incredibly freeing.”
Art Remnet
“It’s amazing how the perfect thing can come into our lives at the best possible time. This was not the most comfortable process, but David made it easy, even the hard bits 🙂 It’s been an amazing process, thank you, David, for producing it. It has more than paid for itself in the very first week!”
Maggie Berman
“One of the most creative, intelligent, inspiring people I know. I wouldn’t be doing what I am without him.”
Nicolette V. Beard
“WOW! I have been doing affiliate marketing for almost a decade now, and I learned more in one interview with David than I have in the TENS of thousands of dollars of affiliate marketing training I've completed.”
Dana Wilde
“Wow, David. I’ve just finished this program. The course was well-named. I think that was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do. If you’re as serious as I was in wanting to know where you’re headed and WHY, this course really makes you think — and takes a significant amount of fortitude, insight, and mental energy. I have to admit that where I ended up is NOT AT ALL where I expected to be. I’ve also learned that lying to one’s self is a lot easier than facing the truth and working through some difficult issues. The end result, though, is well worth it. I have a clear end in sight. I have clear vision for the businesses I wish to create and a roadmap to get there. Thanks for this roller-coaster ride.”
Dr. Mitchell Cohen
“David was instrumental in helping me establish the foundation of my business Everyday Giving. His advice saved me a significant amount of time and headaches associated with starting a new business. Recently, I decided that I needed to take a fresh look to take Everyday Giving to the next level. David was the first person I contacted to help make it happen, thanks to his coaching skills. His current recommendations are already making a positive difference.”
Roger Carr
Corporate clients appreciate that I deliver results and solve problems.
“David was one of the best Project Managers I have ever had the privilege to work with. He is excellent at managing expectations, team, customer, internal customers, and project planning. David was well respected by everyone and a pleasure to work with.”
Keota Lynn Golden
“David did a wonderful job of facilitating a cross-functional internal effort to define requirements, create an initial design, and develop and implement the employee portal. David added value to the process through overall business savvy, creative bent, willingness to think outside the box, and skills in bringing all types to the table to reach common ground.”
Bonnie Owen LaForge
“David is someone who moves the project along, bringing needed lift and energy. He can deal with the small details as well as see the project from a high level; he knows well how to prioritize. He dives in, rolls up the sleeves, and quickly gets to work. His business and life experiences are rich and varied. He brings intelligence and thoughtfulness to his projects.”
Kristi Eide
“David is very professional, makes certain all deliverables are documented and tracked, and most importantly, drives tasks to close. Regardless of the project, he becomes a subject matter expert and adds business value with his insights. I’ve tried to hire him full-time, but he prefers the consulting world!”
Harry Bennett

NAMS Special Offer for the First 10 People to Sign Up!
A few years ago, I invested $50,000 to work with a strategy coach. We had a handful of meetings. When it was over, I didn’t have a clear path. What I did have was an upsell offer into his $125,000 mastermind program.
That’s not what Clear Path Mastery is about. There are no upsells. No bait-and-switch.
This program is not cheap. But it is life-changing. And compared to what you’ve already spent in lost opportunities, wasted energy, and sleepless nights, it’s a bargain.
The full value of Clear Path Mastery is $25,000. That’s what this level of one-on-one access and transformation is worth — and it’s what the program will be priced at moving forward.
But for this next group of 10 clients, the investment will be only $10,000.
However, for the initial 10 people from the NAMS Community only, I'm opening this up for just $ 2,500.
It's NOT $25k or even $10K for NAMS Folks Today!
Because You're a NAMS Community Member and This Is a New Program, It's Yours for $2500.
My Guarantee to You
Most programs try to make you feel safe by offering a refund policy. Not this one.
Clear Path Mastery is serious work — and it requires a serious commitment. There are only 10 spots available at any time, and I refuse to let one of those be wasted on someone who isn’t ready to do the work. That’s why there are zero refunds.
Instead, there’s a different kind of guarantee. Before you’re accepted into the program, we’ll conduct a thorough interview to ensure this is the right fit. Once you’re in, you’ll have my full attention, my personal guidance, and a proven process.
How to Get Started
Step 1:
Claim your seat with your payment!
Click the buy button and pay in full. You'll receive a document with instructions for an intake questionnaire.
Step 2:
Complete the intake form.
It will only take a minute or two.
Step 3:
Then book your Zoom interview.
This is where we'll discuss the program in detail, get you started, and address any questions you may have.
I look forward to working with you.
The Real Risk Is Doing Nothing
By now you know: this program isn’t built on empty promises or money-back guarantees.
There are no refunds because this isn’t a casual purchase. It’s a serious commitment — one that demands your focus, your honesty, and your willingness to do the work.
But here’s the truth: the real risk isn’t investing in Clear Path Mastery. The real risk is doing nothing.
Hopefully, this is not you...
And I’ll never forget another moment that drove this home. I was in Toronto, speaking at a conference. After my talk, I sat down at a table to answer questions. A woman I’d seen at other events leaned in and told me she had already spent $110,000 trying to build her business. My first question was simple: “So how’s your website performing?” She looked at me and said quietly, “I don’t have a website.”
I was shocked—$110,000 gone, and nothing to show for it.
She was operating without a Decision Matrix or anything that resembled that. And she had no guidance. And now, she had no 401K.
Don't be that person.
Do What You’ve Always Done and Get What You’ve Always Gotten
Let’s be clear. You already know what another year of hesitation looks like:
-
Waking up every morning with that heavy dread.
-
Pouring energy into clients and projects that don’t fulfill you.
-
Wondering why “success” feels so hollow.
But it doesn’t have to stay that way.
Clear Path Mastery gives you the one thing you’ve been missing: clarity. A decision system you can trust for the rest of your life. A way to say hell yes or hell no instantly, without guilt. A vision that pulls you forward instead of leaving you stuck.
